GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY
Glamour is high end, dressed up, full blown LOOK YOUR VERY BEST Portrait Session. It's not only feminine, glamour can also be masculine. With Mariea Rummel, your shoot is about sophistication with a dash of sexy.
Professional Hair & MUA’s (even men need it) do their magic to make sure you are polished and camera ready.
Glamour Photography is not about putting your everyday makeup on and doing your hair, a Glamour Session is all about taking your look upscale and to the max. The result is stunning, magazine quality images you will absolutely love.
This is not your everyday Portrait Session, this is a special event, for a very special individual, and that would be YOU!
CREATIVE FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
A Fine Art Photograph begins with a message, an idea. “Fine art photography” is basically work created for a client while being based on a photographers vision. The client typically gives over artistic control to the photographer.
The imagery created from this type of shot is typically more revealing of the photographer’s personality than other types of photography. It is a style of photography with less aesthetic restrictions and incorporates the freedom to pursue unique visual expressions and ideas.
Quite often fine art images lean a bit toward a painterly style.
what to expect
CHOOSE YOUR STYLE AND WE’LL MAKE IT HAPPEN
NATURAL, HIGH FASHION, GLAMOUR, FINE ART
First is your consultation, this is where we talk about your style, your wardrobe and what you want to walk away from this experience with. I give you steps to help you prep for your session so you’re ready to go the day of your shoot.
SESSION DAY - CAMERA! ACTION!
Once you reach the studio we go through the outfits you’ve brought, then you go into hair and makeup. When you’re camera ready and dressed in your first outfit, we start your shoot set. Once we get started, you’ll feel your confidence grow. You’ll be amazed at how quickly time flies, as they say, when you’re having fun.
IMAGE REVEAL & ORDER APPOINTMENT
Approximately 2 weeks after your shoot you’ll see your edited images in studio and see how truly amazing you are through someone else’s eyes. It’s true we never really see ourselves as others do.
This appointment is also where you choose your favorite images for print or digital. I offer large prints, albums and folios. I’ll guide you in making the best possible choices.
THE EXCITEMENT - SPECIAL DELIVERY
This is one of the most exciting portions of the process, at least for me. To actually see yourself in print is mind blowing. Products are delivered approximately 2 weeks after placing your print order.

what to wear
EMPOWER YOURSELF
Choosing outfits can be a bit stressful, the most important thing to remember is to make sure you choose outfits that make you feel powerful, but at the same time are comfortable. Women: That gorgeous dress that you’ve been dying to wear can be subtly sexy and create amazing images. MEN: a power suit is always a good start.
Accessorize your looks with killer shoes, bring at least a couple of pair that work with your outfits. Remember you’re not going to be walking in them so they don’t have to be super comfortable. Other accessories that work are necklaces, earrings, hats, gloves even boots can provide a whole other look to your images.
prepping
PLANNING FOR YOUR SHOOT - GLAMOUR OR FINE ART
Taking the time to prep everything for your shoot will keep you relaxed and feeling confident. Throwing everything together last minute will make you feel frazzled and out of sorts. We want you to have a fabulous experience from start to finish and the best way is simply to feel prepared.
SKIN
- Hydrate the week of your shoot, drink water regularly your skin will love it. It’s a great idea to exfoliate your body prior to your shoot, make sure not to irritate and redden your skin though, best to do a 2 or 3 days before your session.
If you wax, make sure to do it or have it done leaving enough time for your skin to calm down if you are prone to any reaction, for example reddened areas.
Please don’t go for a tanning session for at least a week before your shoot, it will not look natural and adds an orange tint to your skin. Bring your body lotion with you to your session.
FACE
- Treat yourself to a facial. Your skin will glow, just make sure to know how your skin reacts and give yourself time for your skin to calm down after your treatment.
Whitening your teeth - there are an affordable at home use products or schedule a dental visit
Get your eyebrows waxed if they need it. Since they frame your eyes, they’re an important part of prepping.
HAIR- Get a trim before your shoot, Typically a week prior to your shoot. Don’t go for a drastic hair style change right before your session. Make sure that if you color your hair your roots are touched up and a deep conditioning can help your hair shine with a beautiful glossy finish.

We include Hair & Makeup in your glamour or fine art session for the express reason that our Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists are professionals who are highly skilled with years of experience. Leave it to the professional, you will love this experience.
Your pre-session includes a 1.5 hour session with our professionally trained hair & makeup artist. Whatever look or feel you want to express our hair and makeup artists are here to make it happen, whether you want your look to be natural, glamorous, or pure elegance. We talk about the look you want, look at images that you love and the outfits you want to wear for your session and make it all come together to bring out the most amazing you.
This is why we do what we do. How fabulous to bring out the innate beauty that is you. Makeup and hair don’t make the person, all it does is enhance your natural beauty and we’re here to make that happen.

FINE ART COMPOSITES is the use of multiple images to create a one of a kind portrait. This process is quite time consuming on the back end of editing but the results are breathtaking! At the moment Mariea is building up her composite portfolio. If you would like a session, she is offering the same rate as her fine art collection.

How many images will I see after the session?
For glamour and Fine Art one hour session roughly 20-30 final images.
For Fine Art Composite this is commission work so you will see two complete composites and then 15-20 Fine Art images

How soon after our session will my images be available?
Glamour within two weeks. Fine Art and Composite work 4 weeks. We’ll review your full set of images at your ordering session where you can choose your favorite images and finalize your print/digital selections.
